File Preparation Guidelines
Accepted File Formats
- •PDF - Preferred format (high-resolution, fonts embedded)
- •AI - Adobe Illustrator files (convert text to outlines)
- •PSD - Adobe Photoshop files (flatten layers, 300 DPI minimum)
- •INDD - Adobe InDesign files (package all fonts and images)
Resolution Requirements
- •300 DPI minimum for all print files
- •CMYK color mode (not RGB) for accurate color reproduction
- •Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines/curves
- •Include 3mm bleed on all sides for trimmed products
Bleed & Safe Zone
Bleed: Extend your background colors and images 3mm beyond the trim line. This ensures no white edges appear after cutting.
Safe Zone: Keep all important text, logos, and content at least 3mm inside the trim line to avoid being cut off during production.
Color & Printing
CMYK vs RGB
All print files must be in CMYK color mode. RGB colors (used for screens) will appear different when printed. Convert your files to CMYK before submitting to ensure accurate color reproduction.
Note: Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the printed product due to differences in how screens and printers produce color.
Color Proofing
We recommend ordering a proof for critical color-matching projects. Contact us to discuss proofing options for your specific needs.
